Purchase of Training
- Terms of Agreement
- This Agreement starts when the training place is booked and ends in accordance with section 4 below.
- You acknowledge that Ace Centre own all the intellectual property rights in the materials. You may copy and use materials for the purpose of completing the course assignments in your own name. You
may not use the materials for any other purpose. You shall not use the training materials for training other people.
- Your obligations
- You shall ensure that Ace Centre have your up-to-date details, including contact information.
- You shall access your email regularly to keep up to date with information received from Ace Centre.
- You shall pay the full training fee at the point of booking.
- You will not:
- Alter any part of the training materials;
- Assign or otherwise dispose of your or our rights under this agreement;
- Contest our intellectual property rights in the materials.
- Cancellation
- Bespoke Training
- If you wish to cancel a bespoke training event, you must do so in writing to Ace Centre at least 1 month before the due start date.
Where cancellations are made within this timeframe, Ace Centre will refund 90% of the training fee within 10 days of receipt of
the cancellation request. Where cancellations are made after that date, the full training fee will still be due.
- Where Ace Centre have to cancel a training course, an alternative date will be offered, or a full refund will be provided where no alternative date can be agreed.
- PODD course
- Once booked, 50% of the full training fee is non-refundable, as Ace Centre has an external provider to deliver this training. If you wish to cancel a PODD course, you must do so in writing to Ace
Centre at least 1 month before the due start date. Where cancellations are made within this timeframe, Ace Centre will refund 50% of the training fee within 10 days of receipt of the
cancellation request. Where cancellations are made after that date, the full training fee will still be due.
- If you are unable to attend the training event, you may transfer your place to a colleague, subject to notifying Ace Centre.
- Where Ace Centre have to cancel a training course, an alternative date will be offered, or a full refund will be provided where no
alternative date can be agreed.
- Other training courses
- If you wish to cancel your training place, you must do so in writing to Ace Centre at least 1 month before the due start date of the training event. Where cancellations are made within this timeframe, Ace Centre will charge a £15 admin fee. The training fee, less the admin fee, will be refunded by Ace Centre within 10 days of receipt of the cancellation request. Where cancellations
are made after that date, the full training fee will still be due.
- If you are unable to attend the training event, you may transfer your place to a colleague, subject to notifying Ace Centre.
- Where Ace Centre have to cancel a training event, this will be done in writing to the delegate no later than 1 month before the due start date of the training. An alternative date will be offered, or a full refund will be provided where the alternate
date is not suitable.
- Termination
- This agreement will terminate when the training is complete or earlier if you are found to be in material breach of any of its terms and this breach is not remedied by you within the period of ten days after we
have given you written notice of it.
Purchase of Products & Publications

- This Agreement starts at the point of purchase.
- Your obligations
- You shall ensure that Ace Centre have up-to-date details for shipping and delivery purposes.
- You shall pay the full cost of the goods at the point of purchase.
- Refund
- To qualify for a refund, goods must be returned to Ace Centre:
- in a resaleable condition
- within one calendar month of purchase
- at the purchaser’s own expense
- Where goods are returned in a resaleable condition, within this timescale, and at the purchaser’s own expense, Ace Centre will refund the full cost of the purchased item(s) plus outgoing P&P.
- Where due, refunds will be paid by BACS transfer within 10 working days of receipt of the returned goods.
