Since January 2015, NHS England has commissioned new services for children and adults who require communication aids and who meet the eligibility criteria within the service specification D01 S-B. Ace Centre, a national charity based in Oldham and Abingdon, has been commissioned by NHS England to deliver this contract for the North West, and Wessex and Thames Valley specialised commissioning regions. Ace centre is supporting Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs), children’s services and other organisations to develop local commissioning arrangements, which may include joint commissioning arrangements, in line with local Sustainability and Transformation Plans (STP).
Ace Centre Partnerships offer the opportunity for our consultants to work closely with your team to evaluate your service’s current local offer for AAC and AT users. Through this process, a development plan will be produced which will offer you bespoke and targeted support for your service and team development needs.
