This project aims to develop new protocols for the provision and support of Assistive Technology and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) within the emerging context of Children’s Trusts. The project will develop protocols and procedures for:

  • local integrated service delivery using multi-agency resources;
  • influencing the local agenda (including children and parent involvement);
  • integrated multi-agency management.

The project will build on expertise established during the DfES Communication Aids Project (CAP)
