Local AAC Services
Query must fall in our regions of Wessex and Thames Valley (Karen Bailey) and North West (Suzanne Martin). Ask for post code of client and check NHS Service Finder (Services > NHS Services > NHS Service Finder) to see if they fall within our regions. If they are not in our region the Service Finder will give information about the service that can help them.
If they fall within Ace Centre regions that we can support:
- Local AAC Service (LAACES) development questions, looking for info on data gathering, talking to commissioners, care pathways, funding equipment for someone not eligible for NHSE service etc
- LAACES Loan Library requests
- Not for anything around technical support for a loan – send to Tech Support Team
- Enquiries about eligibility :
- Direct towards information on our website here (Services > NHS Services > NHS England Assessment)
- Highlight detailed guidance around referral criteria in link NHSE eligibility criteria in first paragraph
