Equipment Faults and Technical Support

Visits and Support
If you have already received a letter informing you of the date of your assessment, one of our team will be in touch to consider how we can best support you. We will be offering NHSE Specialised AAC Services to any person who meets the eligibility criteria and has a GP postcode within the for the North West and Wessex and Thames Valley regions, details of which can be found here: https://servicefinder.acecentre.net/
New Referrals
We are now able to offer services to anyone who meets NHSE specialised AAC service eligibility criteria. All services will be offered remotely in the first instance and may involve:
- Remote support over the telephone or video call
- Remote diagnosis and fixing of faults by our TeamViewer remote support tool
- Sending or dropping off equipment that we have pre-set up for use/trial
- Providing resources to support immediate use. The following pages may be helpful in these instances:
In exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Ace Centre, we may be able to offer direct contact visits, which could involve attendance at our Ace Centre offices or a home visit. Information Day Appointments
We will continue to offer Information Day Appointments, but these will not be delivered at our offices until further notice. Instead, we will aim to do these remotely. If you have an existing appointment, please contact us to arrange this.
