Ace Centre is a national charity offering a range of Assistive Technology (AT) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) services for people with physical and communication impairments and those who support them.
A vacancy has arisen at our Abingdon office for a qualified speech and language therapist, occupational therapist or teacher to join the team and contribute to the delivery of assessments, training and advice and information services. Previous AT/AAC experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. There is however a Senior Consultant post available for a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist or Teacher with AT/AAC knowledge.
This is an opportunity to join a small and friendly multi-disciplinary team offering excellent CPD opportunities. The role would suit an individual who has experience of working with people with a range of disabilities requiring AT and AAC
AAC Consultant – Speech & Language Therapist – £32,029 – £37,849 NJC points 29 – 35
AAC Consultant or Senior AAC Consultant – Occupational Therapist – £32,029 – £43,662 NJC points 29 – 41
AAC Consultant or Senior AAC Consultant – Teacher – £32,029 – £43,662 NJC points 29 – 41
