ACE Centre stakeholder consultation feedback and non-NHS activity
Thank you to everyone who took part in our recent ACE Centre stakeholder consultation. A presentation summarising the key findings can be found here.
In response to the feedback given to ACE Centre, we have identified a limited amount of additional capacity in order to offer services outside of our NHS Contract. Consequently, we have agreed to make a number of days available for service provision beyond the requirements within our NHS Contract, which typically could include:
- Bespoke training for local authority and health services, schools and organisations
- Assessment-related support for local AAC services
- Assessment services for children and adults with complex needs who are not eligible for our NHS-funded services
This additional capacity will be limited to a maximum of three days’ ACE Centre support per year and will be available on a ‘First come, first served’ basis. Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer an equipment short term loan service, as we have insufficient resources to do this now. For further information or to request our support beyond our NHS-funded activity, please contact us.
