ACE Centre chosen for The Guardian Christmas Charity Appeal 2012
We are delighted to announce that ACE Centre has been chosen as one of eight charities for The Guardian Christmas Charity Appeal 2012. This year's appeal focuses on charities that are helping people with disability fulfil their potential and it's a great privilege to be able to showcase the work of ACE Centre.
The ability to communicate is fundamental to a basic quality of life, yet for many people effective communication is difficult because of a physical impairment, language disorder or learning disability. We are experts in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT), with core specialist services that include, Assessments, Training, Equipment loans and Resources.
Funding supports children and adults across England and Wales who need these services to communicate effectively. To donate to us please visit our JustGiving page here or text CHAT12 to 70070
. We welcome any donation you can make no matter how small.
